The Pull List for November 19, 2014

So, as you may know, the next few weeks are going to be absolutely ape-shit crazy, so I'm not going to be able to put as much effort into The Pull List as I'd like. I have so much packing and tossing and selling and donating to do that I might just cry, so I'm going to revert to my old way of doing this for the next little bit: blurb for a few and then list the rest. Hopefully, once we get moved, everything will settle down? Please?

Sleepy Hollow #2 Variant Cover by Jorge Coelho
Via Go Collect
Sleepy Hollow #2 (Boom! Studios)
While I may not buy the single issues of Sleepy Hollow, I may end up buying the trade. The art is excellent, and it's obvious that the creators have watched quite a bit of the show. Writer Marguerite Bennett has the voices of both Crane and Abbie down perfectly, and the art by Jorge Coelho is spot on. Still, I'm glad that it's a limited series (as of right now, only four are slated to be published), since the show is still running strong (albeit not as well as I'd like it to be). Plus, Noelle Stevenson's additional story included with the issue was adorable, and I can't wait to read more of her work.
Jim Henson's The Storyteller: Witches #3 Main Cover
Jim Henson's The Storyteller: Witches #3 (Archaia)
This is actually the only witch tale The Storyteller is tackling with which I am not familiar, but this looks just as mesmerizing as the two previous installments. Plus, I'm already pumped for the final edition: BABA FUCKING YAGA.
Inhuman #8 Main Cover
Via Marvel Comics
Inhuman #8 (Marvel)
I actually just got interested in Inhuman about two weeks ago, and, once I was able to read the back issues - the series sells really well at my store and it was a little surprising that we had some available actually - I became entranced with Attilan City and its inhabitants. I am missing issues two and five, so I'm a tad bit lost, but the trade is coming out in the next couple of months, so I'll at least be completely up to speed at that point. Also: All. Hail. Queen. Medusa.
Batman '66: The Lost Episode Garcia-Lopez Variant Cover
Batman '66: The Lost Episode (DC)
I never realized that Two-Face never made it into the original Batman series or that Harlan Ellison wrote anything for that series. Huh! I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not I want the Alex Ross regular cover or that kickass variant. CHOICES.
Spider-Woman #1 Main Cover
Via Marvel Comics
Spider-Woman #1 (Marvel)
I'm not as excited about this title as I was about the new Thor for two reasons: 1) the whole Manara cover fiasco thing and 2) Goddamn Greg Land (I use all three every time I reference him) is the main artist. However, Silk - who is probably one of the best new heroes to come out of Marvel in a while - is involved, and since Jessica Drew and Carol Danvers are besties, I'm hoping that Captain Marvel will make an appearance or two. A girl can dream, right?

And here's the rest of what I'll be reading!
