30 Day Reboot Challenge, Day 10: Favorite Season

When it comes to my favorite seasons of any shows, I tend to go with the lighter toned ones, or at least, like Miami Vice, the season in which there is the most hope. But in the case of Reboot, I am going with the absolute darkest season of them all: Season Three. Not only does this season have my absolute favorite episode, but it's got great character development and tons of awesome and obscure cultural references of which I am way more aware now that I'm older.

Via Ten Years Too Late
In the third season, we are introduced to the world outside of Mainframe, where adult Enzo, now going by Matrix, and AndrAIa, plus Frisket, are bouncing around the Net, masquerading as game sprites (they altered their icons so they wouldn't be nullified). The Spectral system is probably one of the cooler ones, as the citizens of that system are floating balls of energy, capable of dealing with tears but unable to reboot and win games. And then there's the actual Net. Seriously, even now, twenty years (TWENTY YEARS, YOU GUYS) after first airing, it looks amazing and terrifying.
Season Three is also where Reboot got redesigned. I believe the show switched networks, like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and as such, the creators got to be a little more mature than they had been before.

Now, I'm going to be talking about Season Three extensively for the rest of the month, so this is where I'm going to leave this particular post. I don't want to spoil it for you.
