Friends Challenge

One of the most recognizable television shows of the last twenty-five years (OMG, the first season came out twenty-five years ago WUT), Friends has not aged particularly well, but damn, if it wasn't one of the best ensemble series that was out at the time. I can't necessarily say it was groundbreaking, but it was kind of like those Soup for the Soul books: good if you just needed an emotional pick me up. Like I said in the challenge intro page, Parks and Rec is now definitely that for me, but I still do occasionally pull out my DVD collection and watch an episode or two. And it's more of a cautionary tale for me as a writer: know when to end a series so you're not just pulling storylines out of your ass to milk it for all it's worth.
